Swtch is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Senior Associate, Private Equity. The Senior Associate, Private Equity for Swtch will work closely with the growing Swtch leadership team. The Senior Associate, Private Equity has primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, managing and running of all the business activities, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. The position reports to the CEO of Swtch.


  • Ability to write business plans, financial models, revenue proformas, and pitch decks

  • Ability to think, plan and execute strategically on investment ventures

  • Charismatic personality that is presentable to senior principals in the investment world

  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills

  • Attention to detail and organization skills

  • Experience with project management methodologies

  • Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets

  • Ability and willingness to travel for meetings with prospective and existing clients

  • Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients

  • Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients

  • Contacting potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them

  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods

  • Research the latest in the business industry and create new opportunities to expand business

  • Collaborate with sales and design teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals

  • Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive

  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary

  • Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing

  • Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs

  • Work well with the executive leadership team to develop the strategic plan

  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team

  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets

  • Advise on long-term business and financial planning

  • Establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Job requirements


  • MBA required

  • Graduate from a top business school preferred

  • Minimum - Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience

  • Sharp, dynamic, creative and solution-oriented business professional with persuasive skills

  • Previous management experience is a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong project management skills with a "problem solving" orientation

  • Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple detail-oriented tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical skill

  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment, across different time zones

  • Ability to take the initiative to manage multiple detail-oriented tasks simultaneously with limited supervision

  • Must display a cohesive ability at interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written

  • Must be able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise sound judgment

  • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general business development and budgeting

  • Experience with corporate governance

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • Experience with budget management, public accounting and cash flow

  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions

  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust

  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate
