Job description

  • Concept, create, and collaborate with the senior UX designer and client to develop new websites and Apps.

  • Design the wireframes, aesthetics, layouts, and user interface elements and prototypes for responsive design across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.

  • Participate in design presentations with clients and articulate rationale

  • Research and implement Web/UX design best practices and trends.

  • Conduct testing of sample applications, websites, and software to Assess user experience and ease of design.

  • Use recent studies and findings to establish the best overall design elements to include in UX design experiences.

  • Create surveys for research through various media platforms to gather feedback on user's ease of use and satisfaction interfacing on company websites and products.

  • Design the aesthetics to be implemented within a website or product, from the layout menus and drop-down options to colors and fonts allowing for interface edits as needed.

  • Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation through various digital programs and interfaces within the company.

  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience designing responsive, user-friendly websites

  • A creative portfolio of professional, modern web design work

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Figma while open to new tools such as Sketch

  • General understanding of frontend web development including HTML/CSS/Javascript, as well as WordPress and other content management systems (Coding experience is a huge plus)

  • Understanding of web and native mobile application UX and UI design standards, and best practices

  • A sense of typography, layout, design, color and overall aesthetics.

  • Attention to detail, ability to grasp broad project objectives, solve problems and stay organized

  • Verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Scrum/Kanban Agile workflow methodologies

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • English proficiency

  • Flexibility in work schedule (i.e. evenings and weekends as necessary)

  • Time-management skills
